In many developing countries, especially in remote areas, medical care is almost non-existent. Such was the case in Palacios, Honduras when Gospel Crusade of Canada began building a medical clinic there. Later a dental clinic was constructed in La Ceiba, Honduras with assistance from Canada. In Haiti, Gospel Crusade of Canada has conducted medical clinics with Canadian nurses. We have also been instuemental in providing `prescription medications to a Haitian clinic. Most recently, following the January 2010 earthquake, Gospel Crusade of Canada in partnership with an Ottawa doctor, sent antibiotics for treating up to10,000 people. Seminars for adults have been organized to teach Human Reproduction and a Biblical approach to family planning where the ability to care for children is emphasized. |
